ABOUT PETIT PANIER

Petit Panier is a creative studio rooted in interiors, art and the joy of collecting.

Founded by designer Marie Dent in 2021, Petit Panier grew from a lifelong love of French brocantes, traditional craftsmanship, natural materials and objects with a story to tell.

Growing up in France, Marie spent weekends exploring village markets and brocantes with her parents, an early introduction to the beauty of things made well, found by chance and collected over time. After ten years in London, she and her family moved to the Hampshire countryside, creating more space for family life, creativity and a renewed appreciation for home.

Today, Petit Panier brings together a love of old and new, from French and Swedish vintage artwork and brocante finds to contemporary pieces, natural materials and considered design.

Our approach is personal and led by instinct. We believe the most interesting homes aren’t created from a single aesthetic, but evolve through a mix of things that have meaning, antiques alongside contemporary pieces, colour and pattern, handmade objects, found treasures and pieces collected over time.

With a background in art and design, Marie brings a naturally eclectic eye to each project. Inspiration comes as much from a beautiful old painting or a flea-market find as it does from architecture, colour, texture and the way a home is lived in.

Petit Panier Studio works with private clients on interiors, styling and sourcing, creating spaces that feel considered but never overly decorated, individual, warm and full of character.

Alongside the studio, Petit Panier continues to grow its own collection of vintage art, objects and pieces for the home, sourced from France and beyond.

At its heart, Petit Panier is about creating spaces filled with things you love, pieces to live with, collect and pass on.
