Petit Panier was founded in 2021 by Creative Director Marie Dent, whose background in history and contemporary art is echoed in her approach to material, proportion, and timeless form. Originally from France and now based in England, Marie blends the soul of French vintage with the grounded textures of the British countryside.

Working closely with small-scale artisans across the UK, Petit Panier is rooted in a deep respect for craft, sustainability, and the power of objects with meaning. Unlike larger interiors brands, we don’t mass-produce or rely on distant supply chains. Every item is made in small batches or hand-sourced, with transparency, intention and care. We value connection over scale, guided by a belief in local craft and gentle, slow processes that respect both people and the planet.

We believe a beautiful home isn’t styled, it’s carefully layered and lived in.

From our signature wavy trays made in England to our unique ceramics or bestselling rattan shades, everything in the collection is either designed in-house, created with our skilled makers, or discovered at French brocantes.
